Statickk14, this movie is great science! Ever heard of the double-slit and delayed choice experiments? This stuff is what quantum mechanics is based on, and it obviously works because we can make very accurate predictions with it. Do some independent research, because it's either this or Many Worlds interpretation. And MW my friend is the real pseudo-science.

In order for a theory to be scientific, it has to be falsifiable. I can't disprove the existence of a green monster..that doesn't mean that it exists. An idea is an idea..it is not a theory, there is no evidence to back up anything that these guys are saying. Do some independent research. Just because a movie is about science, doesn't make it a good science movie. This movie is pseudo science.

fascinating. Though I am not sure I agree with some of it. I watch this on television a long time ago, and only recently remembered when I watched a differant show about quantum physics. Fascinating.

me. Environmental Decoherence is the explanation for why large objects are not subject to the unpredictable nature that quantum mechanics describes. the atoms in a cat are continually bumping into eachother, disturbing each other's wave function. however, scientists don't exactly know all the details, such as why one version of reality overcomes the other and becomes realized once a measurment is made. if you want to learn more, i suggest you Google it.
