I also like New Order & Depeche Mode but I don't think New Order has as good of a presence as DM. It's difficult to compete with Dave Gahan as a frontman in that respect.

you know what`s funny people in a Depeche Mode vid would get all defensive if i compared New Order to Depeche Mode...it actually hapenned once, but somewhare else...hahaha...anyway i love both these bands and i dont care which one was first cuz i wasnt around back then anyway...

Blue Monday, the original version, was released in 1983 and at the time, Depeche Mode could only dream of doing something this cool. And no, this does not somewhat sound like Depeche Mode; just because it's electronic does not make them similar, their sound is very different.

I think New Order is way better than Depeche Mode. The more I learn about both bands, the more I have respect for New Order and the less I have for Depeche Mode who I recently realized are kind of fakes.
