I love Bonfa's guitar musicianship and technique. I heard Stan Getz's version (spelled Sambalero)from a Jazz 'Round Midnight album and immediately fell in love with this tune.

Two cuts of "Sambolero" are on the Solo in Rio album from '59. He's a good singer, too. The piece played in the latter half of the video sounds like "Tenderly" or "Variations on Guitar", I can't remember which.
