Every year we look forward to them coming through Georgia. When they do, we'll be ready to enjoy them as much as they enjoy they nectar. They are cute. We had a few ruby throated ones this time.

many commercial nectar preperations come with a color additive so its easy to see when the mix is completely dissolves. usually they are red though. perharps he included a fruit flavoured bird vitamin calld ornalyte to the mix
