Those hippies were filth; they're not my heroes... They provoked it and got what they deserved! If I had been there, a lot more of them would have died (I got to be a pretty good shot in Iraq...). Those troops were the heroes! Support the troops, and God Bless the Ohio National Guard!

KSU massacre. This is what happens when a bunch of spoiled rotten brats don't get their way. The correct way would have been to protest in peace. Vote for change. If you don't like the candidates run for office yourself. If you can't garner the support to change it than obviously you are in a small minority. Move somewhere where people share your opinion or live with it. The blood of the dead are on the hands of the rockthrowers. JFish how has your family member dealt with that?

Hippies suck, they shouldnt be shot though. Just beat down.

hey theo..pretty gung-ho to say sitting down in front of your computer, but one of my family members was shot through the wrist not to mention his best friend jeffery being killed that day. But go ahead and say you want to kill hippies you ingnorant ass

and it wasnt the stone throwing and violence that caused the shooting.one soldier thought he heard a gun shot or something and opened fire and the other guards saw he did this and they opened fire too.sad.

I love the part where the Guard opens fire; Shit, they dropped those hippies... There is a civil war coming to America and it's gonna rip it's self apart, and I say good... I hope I get a chance to kill some spoiled rich white kids too...

The abusive and often illiterate comments by some people who seem to regard killing people simply because they disagree with them are chilling. I spent over 30 years in the military and saw plenty of action but Kent State was murder pure and simple. God help us all if some of the attitudes revealed here prevail.

How could you not protest against a war where the desertion rate was high, the Mai Lai massacre was covered up, and a man was in office that actually used a policy called the "Madman." In this war, it seemed that American forces abandoned a lot of things that made us great in the past. No, I know I'm not the only one with an opinion; but, you're talking about the murder of civilians. They made martyrs of the students and furthered the cause so the national guard made the wrong choice here.

You say God Bless the Ohio National Guard, yet in your commandments it says that you shall not murder. Freedom of speech also allows you to insult those lost on that day. You say you would have killed them all. Really? Are you that angry that people have other beliefs than yours, that you would MURDER them? Nationalism in the wrong hands can be extremely dangerous. That was proven on May 4, 1970.

Our soldiers and marines were fighting thatf-cked up war so those pussies COULD HAVE THE FREEDOM TO PROTEST. Yet, i would have gladly pulled the trigger on one of them. |
