True, but not all people of Latin American origin are Latinos. Haitians and Brazilians are not Latinos, despite being Latin Americans.

Latinos a native or inhabitant of latin america also a person of latin america origin living in the u.s. latin the language of ancient rome a member of any of the peoples whose languages derive from latin. Latin america a native or inhabitant of any of the countries of No.. central or So..America whose official language is spanish or portuguese latin america.

UH when they say their puerto rican, its cause their parents are puerto rican, so it makes her a puerto rican.Why cant you guys just shut up and accept the fact she says shes puerto rican, and she reps puerto ricans, and shes from the bronx.thats all i dont want to argue about no history shit...i just want to let you know she boricua, thats it.

Jennifer Lopez is proud to be American, hence she's Jenny from the black. She's from the Bronx, not Puerto Rico, and Jenny ain't denying it. I just don't understand why some Puerto Rican Americans can't accept that.If Jenny's Puerto Rican, then I'm African, because my ancestors were originally from Africa, but it would sound stupid of me to walk around say I'm from Africa, now wouldn't it? Jenny doesn't call herself a Puerto Rican in that sense as if she's from there herself.
