what is "jailbreak"
kcaz94 (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
I don't thin that there is a high risk of the ipod touch getting a virus from jail breaking but by doing this if something goes wrong your software may become corrupted and turn your ipod into a $300 paperweight. Plus if you do jailbreak your ipod warrantee instantly becomes invalid. My advice, dont jailbreak. There is now an Apple app store, which has tons of higher quality Apps then a Jail broken Ipod, could ever offer you.

Can this send a virus to your iPod Touch? Also is dis a risk because my cousin has an iPhone and hers got all jacked up cause of jailbreaking.

dude....no sim card is ever going to go into a an i-touch.if you want to make a phone call, get a iphone!

Since the iTouch isnt made for being used as a phone, I dont think it would have a SIM card slot. So therefore, you could not use it as a phone unfortunately. "Unlocking" is for the Iphone, Which is where if you switch service providers, you can put in the other providers SIM card into the phone, and have it work without switching phones.
