i dunno, it did seem like fear, it flared its ears and tucked in its trunk. more cautious than anything as a full grown elephant is top of the food chain and has nothing to be afraid of.also, elephants have incredibly dextrous feet, if they like you, they can stand on your arm and it wont hurt at all as their muscels form around it, but if they dont theyll crush it and it will hurt lol

It's not fear. They avoid it out of consideration.I've seen what it looks like when elphants get frightened, it's a complealty different behavior.

Beautiful animals!!!!I don't believe for a second that they are afraid, I think they are just respectful of other life.They don't want to "clumsily" kill another creature.Beautiful animals!!!!

It's the elephant's sigh that really makes me laugh. It was at just the right moment, as though answering the question:"What do you think?""Pfffft."*shrug* Maybe the elephant was just disgusted with the entire experiment.
