Amazing and very cute! However it tends to lose its lustre when you consider: the use of key words to trigger a reaction learned by rote; and withholding food as a bribe.Birds are extremely intelligent though. Note the recent case of a Quaker Parakeet that warned the owner about her choking baby by getting all flustered and shouting "Baby! Baby!"Don't forget the Japanese crows that wait at traffic lights to drop nuts under the wheels of waiting cars. They collect the cracked nuts.
