Why such malice? I am entirely sentient of the fact that Rosie insulted him and most definitely should not have, but I can find no logical reason why Trump should lace his insults with such ferocity and seething abhorrence. And to insult her physical appearance seems a bit intellectually bankrupt to me. He should have handled the situation in a more civil manner. But, of course, he knew that the kind of publicity that he would get from these statements would make his show ratings skyrocket.
