Carl Sagan and Vangelis literally bring tears to my eyes. His words dance with Vangelis' tone in extraordinary ways like no other can. They both are the voices of the universe as we know it. We all miss you Carl... :(

Yeah,.. this still gives me chills. I love this theme!! I remember sitting and watching this Cosmos TV series as a kid and telling Carl Sagan to shut up so I could hear this theme music. LOL. Perfect perfect song. Still stunning even over time. I think it's Vangelis best piece ever. Heaven and Hell, 3rd Movement, 1975.
