Yeah, he really thinks he is shit. And Eddie Van Halen (who cites Allan as his biggets influence) is like "WTF!? You're amazing!"

i've read something like that before about Holdsworth... the mark of a true artist... never satisfied and always modest to a flaw... he's still a crackerjack improviser though!!!

I guess what I meant was I can tell 100% that he means and feels everything he plays. Wheather he's standing still, on his head or thrashing about. That's something that doesn't come off in a lot of other fusion shredders in my experience. Just MY opinion though...

Just because he moves around, or others stand still, has NO bearing on whether they feel what they are playing. To think so would be to be severely misguided.
